There is a HP LaserJet 4050 Series network printer available for use at CINC. To use it, add a network printer with IP address:
128.138.225.99
Windows Installation:
Note to Windows users: This printer is not actually considered a network printer.
- Go to the printer wizard
- select "local printer attached to this computer"
- uncheck "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play Printer"
- click next
- click "Create a new port" and select "Standard TCP/IP port" as Type of Port:
- enter IP address above
- For printer type choose HP / HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS

Windows 7 Duplex Printing
Here's how to get duplex printing set up on Windows 7:
- Navigate to "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers" in the file explorer.
- Under "Printers & Faxes" choose the CINC printer you just installed.
- Right-click on it and select "Printer Properties"
- Click on the tab "Device Settings" and scroll down to "Installable Options"
- Change the option "Duplex Unit (for 2-sided printing)" from "Not Installed" to "Installed"
- Press the "Apply" button.
- Click on the tab "General" and press the button "Preferences"
- Click on the tab "Finishing" and select the "Print on both sides" option under "Document Options"
Mac Installation
- Go to [System Preferences] -> [Print & Fax]
- Click + to add a printer
- Go to 'IP' tab and choose 'IPP' for protocol and type the address (128.138.225.99)
