There is a HP LaserJet 4050 Series network printer available for use at CINC. To use it, add a network printer with IP address:
128.138.225.99
Windows Installation:
Note to Windows users: This printer is not actually considered a network printer.
- Go to the printer wizard
- select "local printer attached to this computer"
- uncheck "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play Printer"
- click next
- click "Create a new port" and select "Standard TCP/IP port" as Type of Port:
- enter IP address above
- For printer type choose HP / HP LaserJet 4050 Series PS
It is important to choose the option with the suffix "PS" instead of PCL5 or PCL6 so that duplex (double-sided) printing is possible. If you do not see this option then you should select "Windows Update" if available.

- Click on the tab "Device Settings" and scroll down to "Installable Options"
- Change the option "Duplex Unit (for 2-sided printing)" from "Not Installed" to "Installed"
